In what could only be called a fitting conclusion, the season finale in Brazil was about as exciting as any race this year. It started with rain and ended with rain -- again reflecting how rain has affected this year's results and excitement levels.

Congratulations to Massa for a superb race and win and to Hamilton for a fairy book season and the World Championship. Hats off to Ferarri for another victory.

We'll take a week to review the scores to ensure there aren't any errors, but it appears that congratulations are also in order for "Temple of Doom" for winning the Duff-F1 Pool for 2008. With a winning score of 8560 and just 3 points ahead of second place "Team Shalfi" it is illustrates that this year's scoring was a smash. Moreover, the top 4 teams were within 32 points of the winner -- that's a third of a percentage point behind.

The confirmed winners will contacted and winnings paid within the next week or two.
