2008 Rules & Pricing

Well folks it's that time of year again. Unlike F1 our rules have not changed from last year. We'll list them to remind you. Register your team on-line until March 13, 2008 using the Entry Form link on your left. (Your team must be picked and paid for prior to the seasons first race weekend.)

RULES

You have 53M to spend and you cannot go over budget. For every 1M that you are under budget you will receive 20 bonus points at the beginning of the season. You must pick 2 drivers, 1 chassis and 1 engine manufacturer to form your team. You may also pick 1 race for which you will receive double points, but it will cost you 2M. Remember, rain races will provide double points in addition to your selected double point race (a rain race is any race that has rain for at least 10 laps or where the leader changes tires - wet to dry or dry to wet). If your double points race is a rain race, you will only get double points - no double dipping.) Both chassis and engine finishing positions will count for points (see scoring). Your team will receive 1 point for every position gain by your drivers from the grid to final positions.

All the entry money collected will be paid out in prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place with the exception of $20.00 that will be used to keep this site up and running and the bank deducted transaction fee.

The stats will be posted after every race on this site. All race results used for this pool come directly from formula1.com. (See link on nav bar on the screen left.) Also, look for the entry form on the Nav bar.
