Welcome to the Duff F-1 League

The new 2009 F1 season is here. However, we at Duff F-1 have lost the joy that a new season should bring. It is probably the multiple and never ending rule changes or the fumbling inept handling of the sport by the FIA, but the fun is gone. Perhaps it is the stupid decisions by Formula One Management (FOM)/CVC Capital Partners, the Formula One rights holders or just the personalites of the people involved, but the entertainment is gone.

Being in Canada, the loss of the Canadian Grand Prix is an enormous loss.

Regardless of which change finally broke the camel's back, Duff F-1 will not be running this season. The amount of time, engery and dedication to ensure the operation of the pool has been provided as an act of love. When the people involved in the sport cause that love to turn to pain, it is hard to spend the time needed to keep it running.

We know many of you have been longtime members of the pool and to you we apologize. Hopefully, you can find another pool to help you enjoy the season.

Who knows, we might be back for 2010. Keep your eyes here for any change in status.
